How To Prevent Vehicle Theft

According to the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB), a vehicle is stolen somewhere in the United States every 42 seconds.

Motor vehicles are often an indispensable part of our lives as we use them as our primary mode of transportation - so what can you do to help prevent your vehicle from being stolen?

  1. Take your keys with you and NEVER leave them in or on your vehicle.

  2. Close and lock all windows and doors when you park.

  3. Park in well-lit areas, if possible.

  4. Never leave personal belongings and valuables in your vehicle, especially if they can be easily seen from someone outside looking in through the windows.

As a family-owned business, Menicucci Insurance recognizes the importance of protecting you and your belongings. Reach out to our experienced Personal Lines Manager for personal and auto insurance!
